The project is aimed at evaluating and researching landslip causes and problems around the West Tamar area, particularly Deviot.
The draft of the report, researched by Dr Derek Pennington, of Pennington Geotechnics Pty Ltd, can be accessed on the West Tamar Council's website.
Feedback can be sent to the West Tamar municipal planner by emailing andrew.brown@wtc.tas.gov.au.
The council is also undertaking a program to better the health of the Tamar Estuary in conjunction with the City of Launceston and NRM North.
The objective of the program is to discern the occurrence of sewage in urban stormwater systems.
Inspections by authorised officers from Paneltec will be conducted of stormwater systems at Trevallyn and Riverside from early July for four months.
