The competition will bring 27 entrants to the Best Western Hotel, where they will be judged on their personal interviews, photo presentation, evening/formal wear, and either swimwear for seniors or active sportswear for juniors.
Out of the 27 national finalists, eight are from Launceston and one is from Devonport.
Miss Teen Australia national director Sue Rees said she was "absolutely rapt" that the finals were coming to Tasmania.
"I just think it's going to open all sorts of doors - for the girls, and for people to see Tasmania - I think it's a great tourism opportunity," she said.
As well as the final night at Queen Victoria Museum, Inveresk, the girls will undertake a boot camp at the Cataract Gorge, see Miss Congeniality at the Star Theatre, and there will be a photo shoot with Tasmanian devils at Tasmania Zoo.

"It's the perfect opportunity to showcase Launceston," Ms Rees said.
Personality Rick Marton will co-host the event, along with 2018 runner-up Chelsea Freestone, who went on to win World Teen Supermodel Pacific in Fiji.
Ms Freestone, from Launceston, said it was an honour to be crowned a Teen Supermodel.
"The competitive pressure was pretty high, so it felt pretty nice after all the work I'd put in to come home with a title," she said.
After co-hosting, she is planning to travel with her burgeoning modelling career.
