Funds raised from the Brixhibition event are put towards buy the LEGO kits.
Event organiser Ken Draeger, from Tasmanian Brick Enthusiasts, said the group has been donating for about five years.
The hospital gives out the LEGO to children during their stay, which they are then allowed to take home with them when they leave.
"When we contacted the LGH, they suggested for the kits to last a little bit longer to buy slightly smaller ones, but more of them," he said.
"It's about $1800 worth all up, with 90 kits, and we hope they last about six months."
The group also donate to the hospitals in the other regions they hold events, including Hobart.
Launceston Brixhibition will be held on April 25 next year at the Albert Hall.
