Brad Cox-Goodyer is leading the goal-kicking and vote-getting in the statewide competition and having watched a crop of teammates graduate to the national league remains confident the trend can continue.
Tarryn Thomas, Jay Lockhart, Toby Nankervis and Tom Bellchambers are all performing consistently with Bart McCulloch and former coach Tom Couch having been on AFL lists along with other ex-Bombers including Brad Green and coaches Brendon Bolton and Zane Littlejohn.

Despite a large off-season turnover of players including premiership stars Tom Bennett, Zach Burt, Jake Pearce and Mark Walsh, the reigning premiers sit second and their dynasty appears destined to continue, having achieved success in four of the past five seasons.
"It's been largely spoken about that we lost some of our top-end players but the way we are sitting now speaks volumes of our culture and it's a real credit to our leadership group for getting those new players up to speed with where we are at," Cox-Goodyer said.
With Tasmania's 2021 entry into the VFL approaching, Cox-Goodyer isn't ruling himself out of contention.
"I'll be 28 when that comes in but the way I'm feeling and playing, being injury free for the first time in years, if I have a good year and a half, there's no reason why I can't," he said
