Tasmania Police has urged Northern Tasmanian motorists to drive to icy conditions after a number of crashes throughout the state on Monday morning.

Two vehicle rollovers at Nunamara and Barrington, along with about eight other crashes in various locations around Tasmania, prompted the call out, a Tasmania Police spokeswoman said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"There have been quite a few bingles around the state because of the weather," the spokeswoman said.
Tasmania Police also issued a warning via social media.
"We've had a number of reports of crashes due to ice this morning, so please remember to slow down and drive with caution," the warning said.
