Gaffney won the Class 1 Plate with Luna Sky and the Benchmark 83 Handicap with Balearic, the latter only joining her team during the week.
Four of the trainers' five runners at the meeting were transferred from the Barry Campbell stable.
It gave Gaffney an unusually busy day as she normally has only a small team in work. In fact, she's had only 45 starters for the entire season.
"I don't know how long I'll have Barry's horses - we'll have to see how things work out," she said.
Luna Sky, a three-year-old filly by Tough Speed, is one of Gaffney's own horses and has now won two of her 10 starts.
"She's always shown ability," the trainer said after Brendon McCoull produced a copybook ride to grab a narrow win over Blackberry Rose and Orange Roughie.
"She's been knocking on the door. Her two previous runs (since a spell) were good and we expected her to go well.
"The extra distance (1880m) helped her and that's promising for the future. I think she'll get 2100m.
"She's not inundated with ability but she'll go through a few classes if we pick the right races."
Balearic was totally dominant winning his second race in a row.
Although up in class on his win three weeks earlier, he dropped 5kg and, after Craig Newitt gave him a perfect run, he was able to accelerate quickly in the straight and quickly put the issue beyond doubt.
Newitt had a tougher ride earlier in the day to score on Snippety Cat, needing his renowned strength to get the odds-on favourite home by a narrow margin.
It was an overdue win for the four-year-old after six minor placings and the same could said for John Blacker's other winner Oh So Needy who had also been knocking on the door and broke through after an innovative Bulent Muhcu ride.
On a day of doubles, Adam Trinder joined the club courtesy of Kathanious and Harriman, both ridden by stable jockey Anthony Darmanin.
