The Northern Tasmanian Netball Association hosted the annual junior carnival at its Launceston headquarters.
Games ran from 8.30am in age groups from 11-and-under up to 17-and-under.
Teams came from as far afield as Circular Head, St Helens and the Kingbrough Netball Association, many leaving and returning home in darkness.
After more than 100 round robin games, play-off matches began and grand finals continued through the afternoon culminating in the 17-and-under decider.
The carnival comes in the wake of NTNA products Olive Morris and Ellie Marshall being named in the Tasmanian 15-and-under squad for next month's School Sport Australia championships in Caloundra and Hannah Lenthall receiving a national 17-and-under call-up.
