Wing attack Dana Lester was player of the match at the Silverdome as Dan Roden's team picked up an 11th win from 12 games.
Starting with defensive sensation Dannie Carstens on the bench, Cavs welcomed a fit-again Issy Maskell back into the goal keeper role while Shelby Miller made a welcome return from ANL commitments.

Quick ball movement and early connections in attack allowed the hosts to capitalise off Devon's errors to take a 21-11 lead into the first break.
Carstens replaced Kate McLaughlin at goal defence and the fresh legs worked a treat as Devon were restricted to just three goals in the second term.
At the other end, strong drives and good decision-making was finished off with accurate shooting as the lead blew out to 39-14.
Rachel Tempo (wing defence) and Courtney Treloar (goal shooter) joined the fray as Cavs forced multiple errors in Devon's game.
They went into the final break leading 57-22 and continued to increase the margin as the clock ran down.
On Friday, second-placed Arrows kept up the pressure at the top of the table with a 54-35 defeat of Karana Flames at Hobart Netball Centre while Kingston defeated Cripps Waratah 48-40.
Third-placed Northern Hawks, the reigning premiers, had the bye.
Devon complete their daunting hat-trick of successive visits to the top three next Sunday while the Launceston teams face simultaneous fixtures on adjacent courts.
Cavaliers will take on Cripps Waratah at 6.20pm on Saturday at the same time Karana host the Northern Hawks.
Seven rounds remain until the semi-finals scheduled for August 10.
