"We relish the time together for team bonding on the bus. Four weeks straight does make it a bit tedious but it means we finish with lots of games here," she said.
Taking on Clarence at Bellerive Oval, the Blues took out the Kangaroos by 42 points in round four but Dickson is expecting a tougher clash.
"We had a good win earlier. Now with the under-18 academy girls back to their clubs, it creates different sides and a different game."
Experienced trio Abbey Green, Mel Smith and Courtney Stanley and young duo Sian Beeton and Meg Radford return with Nikki Ristrom and Hayley Whyte missing and Mia King, Amy Halaby, Camilla Taylor and Makenna Hillier unavailable.
North Launceston are also set to make the trip down South as they take on Tigers at Kingston's Twin Ovals.
Boosted by full forward Emily McKinnell's eight-goal effort last weekend, McKinnell herself said it was a relief to get on the scoreboard.
"It was really good to finally kick some goals. It certainly helped having good delivery from our strong midfield as well," she said.
The Northern Bombers also emerged victorious last time they met the Tigers and sit two wins above them on the ladder but McKinnell predicts an improved outfit.
"We played once and went alright, getting the win. Both sides have improved so it's going to be tough."
Ella Jones, Ella McKenzie and Tiffany Whitney come in for Renee Wilson and Hannah Grima.
