Two men have been arrested and charged after an alleged violent assault in Youngtown on Monday night in which a man suffered a stab wound to his abdomen and lost a number of teeth.

The men, aged 25 and 28 of Youngtown, were charged with wounding, criminal damage and hooning offences in relation to the incident on Brooklyn Road.
Investigations are continuing in relation to a third offender.
Police allege the men targeted the house and performed burnouts and donuts in a Holden Commodore out the front, then trespassed onto the man's property and damaged a vehicle in the driveway.
OTHER CRIME NEWS:
The male victim, aged 57, confronted them but the offenders allegedly chased him back down the driveway and struck him "multiple times" with a blockbuster and a baseball bat.
The victim remains in the Launceston General Hospital after receiving a stab wound to his abdomen, cuts and lacerations to his head, and the loss of a number of teeth.
The Holden Commodore was seized and impounded by police.
The two men will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Wednesday evening.
