The driver of a white Holden Commodore evaded police on the Domain Highway at Cornelian Bay at 9.30am.
Traffic offences were then detected as the car was driven through Lindisfarne, Rosny, Mornington and Warrane.

Road spikes were used at Lindisfarne and the car came to a stop after crashing into a parked vehicle.
Police found a 22-year-old man hiding near the scene of the crash and he was arrested. He is now assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are also calling for witnesses who may have seen the driver's behaviour.
