MORE ON NORTHERN SUBURBS POLICE OPERATIONS:
Mayfield was targeted in May with police executing warrants, searching vehicles and conducting random breath tests.
Of the 450 random breath tests conducted, police caught six drug-drivers, two disqualified drivers and one drink-driver.
Tasmania Police Acting Sergeant Aziz Melick said 20 members from Northern Road and Public Order Services, uniform, CIB, and the 10-strong Operation Orca taskforce as well as several police dogs took part in Wednesday's crackdown.
"By arresting and closely monitoring recidivist offenders the Operation Orca taskforce is trying to make life as uncomfortable as we possibly can for them," he said.
"Our taskforce members monitor our most prolific recidivist offenders closely to hold them to account.
Prior to the Ravenswood crackdown, the operation had arrested or charged 145 people with more than 640 charges laid, seized 13 firearms, and clamped or confiscated 11 motor vehicles.
