Those were the two words organiser Josh Statton used to describe his Hard Enduro event that is quickly gaining traction around Australia.
Encompassing Poatina's natural beauty, the event is in its sixth year and forms round two of an Australian-wide series.
"It's extremely popular in Europe but it's something that's now beginning to grow in Australia," Statton said.
"There's a huge online motorcycle community of about 25,000 with Tasmania's growing to 1500 and the events have only really ever been advertised through there so it's built off a strong online presence."
With more than 100 riders set to take part in the weekend's event, Hard Enduro Tasmania has grown from the bottom up and continues to, with 56 riders taking part in last year's installment.
With Tasmania's best in Chris Bayles, Tom Woodhouse and Matthew Vos set to take on defending champion Chris Perry, Australia's best Tim Coleman, Anthony Solar and Neil Foster, completion rates for the gold and silver events are expected to be lower than average.
Saturday's portion of the event will take place on a man-made short course designed to show the sport's beauty in a spectator-friendly setting starting at 10.15am.
Sunday's trek is more of a challenging one, starting at 7.30am, competitors will have eight hours to complete it and will be taken into the natural trails along with a spectator shuttle bus.
Tickets are available online here and are $20 for one day and $30 for two, shuttle inclusive, with under-16s free.
