The Bridport Bunker Club - the operating name of the Bridport Ex-Services and Bowls Club - has added a second storey to their awarded venue.
Called the Loft, the space is a function room and wine bar, with outdoor decking overlooking the ocean.
Operators Diane and Dion Turner said the upgrade is the result of nine months work.
"We still have a few little things - all the finer details - to do, but it's getting close," Mr Turner said.
"We've used all local builders, all our local tradies, so they've had a bit of input," Mrs Turner said. "And they're pretty proud of what they've come up with."
"We've tried to use all Tasmanian timbres, and bought all our furniture from local traders."
The Loft, which has indoor and outdoor seating, fits 60 sit-down diners, and about 80 people for standing cocktail functions.
"It's a room for people to sit and relax and enjoy the view, basically," Mr Turner said.
Private functions have the option of self-catering or booking the Bunker Club's chefs.

The club, which won the Best RSL, Sporting or Community Club award in 2016, 2017, and 2018; the Tasmanian Wine List of the Year People's Choice and the Tasmanian Wine List of the Year Judges Choice 2018; and the Licensed Club Venue at the Brides Choice Awards Tasmania 2019, specialises in seafood.
"We push a lot of great Tasmanian seafood," Mrs Turner said.
"We love to be different.
"We're game with our food, and that results in a lot of big flavours."
They have already booked in two weddings, two birthday parties, and a Bridport Netball Club fundraiser.
On Thursdays and Saturdays during the season the room is reserved as the Bowls clubroom.
"It could be the best bowls club room in the state," Mrs Turner said.
The Bridport Bowls and Ex-Services Club received a $200,000 state government grant for the works.
It is taking bookings now.
