The reigning champions dropped their fifth straight match on Saturday amid a three-goal upset.
But they turned around the head-scratching loss against Territory Storm to register a commanding 66-44 victory on the Sunshine Coast.
The Tasmanians monopolised possession early on to take a five-goal advantage heading into the first break that was extended to nine goals by half-time.
But a dominant attack and defence set up a scintillating 21-9 third quarter and announced the Magpies were back in business.
Tasmanian assistant coach Claire Dennis said the momentous victory was a better reflection of her side's abilities with greater intent shown by a full-strength squad.
"Everyone played their role today and we controlled the game from the outset," Hobart-based Dennis said.
"We will be looking to take this form into the finals series and be accountable to ourselves, value possession and have great conversion."
Plenty of Magpies had much to smile about.
Melissa Bragg controlled the defensive end, Kelsie Rainbow and Shelby Miller were brilliant in the midcourt, while Zoe Claridge used her smarts in goals.
Shooter Jane Cook scored 35 goals, Claridge 24 goals and Sam Gooden 20, as the Pies had 95 shots to 62.
The top performance was soured with key midfielder Sharni Lambden suffering a dislocated shoulder early in the second quarter from a late hit, which saw her Storm rival removed from the court.
Lambden will now have 13 days to recover from the injury ahead of the ANL final series weekend.
