The celebration had bearded canines from across Tasmania take part in games and friendly competitions.
Coordinator Clare Harding said the day was very good with about 70 schnauzers in attendance.
"They [schnauzers] are getting more popular, they're great because they don't shed and they're low-odor as well," she said.
"They're also quite intelligent and they make great family pets too because they're not aggressive, they're very easy to train and are great all-around dogs."
Playful pooches partook in a number of competitions including best trick, most obedient and longest beard.
"We also had a juniors section for dogs under 6 months old, it was great to get younger members involved," Ms Harding said.
A raffle was ran this year to cover costs of hiring the venue with left over funds being donated to A Paw Up charity in Hobart.
