Following four consecutive defeats to the two dominant sides in the competition, Victorian Fury and New South Wales Waratahs, the Magpies are excited to get back to their own brand of netball this weekend as they face Territory Storm.
"After coming off two tough weekends there will be a real focus on ourselves, our combinations and the netball we want to put out there and be proud of," Kent said.
"The group has been great. Coming off two losses, they are definitely keen to come out strongly this weekend."
The Magpies' opponents struggled for early form but have rebounded to be sitting at four wins for the season and Kent believes the Storm will be a challenge.
"Storm come off two solid wins against Southern Force who we had one win and one loss against, so they will be a tough opposition.
"This is great as we want to be challenged and putting our best netball out there leading into finals."
