Pedestrian in serious condition after crash in state's South
Police and emergency services are responding to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the state's South.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Sandy Bay Road and Russell Crescent at Sandy Bay.
At this time the condition of the pedestrian is serious, police say.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the next three to four hours.
All South bound traffic on Sandy Bay Road will be diverted along King Street and Regent Street until further notice.
North bound traffic on Sandy Bay Road is not affected at this time, police say.
