We asked the skippers of both clubs who they'd most like to pinch from their rivals.
North Launceston captain Brad Cox-Goodyer
"Jobi Harper's probably one of the better players in the state just due to the fact that he's a player that can dominate a game individually and can change the game himself whether it be forward or on ball, in the air.
"He's a quite a tall midfielder and he's got a strong body so he's a player we've got to nullify the best we can."
Launceston captain Jay Blackberry
"The man to my right [Cox-Goodyer] is probably fairly handy but they've got a couple of top end guys that you could take any of them.
"I don't think it would really matter if you took Foony [Jay Foon] as a marking centre half-back or half-back flank, [Arion] Richter-Salter, Taylor [Whitford] himself.
"Even Bart [McCulloch] at full forward is pretty handy - they've got some good top end talent - hopefully they have a hard night of it on Friday."
