Publicity shy Gary Ablett will unexpectedly make his first appearance back in Launceston for three years.
That dates back to June 26, 2016 against Hawthorn prior to the Gold Coast captain last year defecting back home to Kardinia Park.
But the Cats champion's triumphant return will not encompass a trademark run down UTAS Stadium.
The two-time Brownlow Medal winner at both clubs will be one of three AFL stars to appear at a Pot, Parmy and Show at Windsor Park.
Ablett will turn out to talk about his career on June 29.
Collingwood teammates Jamie Elliott and Dayne Beams will also take to the stage the following Saturday night for the occasion.
The players will also appear earlier in the afternoon for a meet and greet at Balls 'n' Bumpers where packages run from $50 to $300 each.
Ablett's slated appearance at the Launceston football clubrooms is set to coincide with the Blues premiership reunions at Windsor Park's Tamar Function Centre that will include members of the 1969 NTFA senior flag side.
