The Sixers have made all four WBBL finals since the competition's inception, finishing runner-up in 2015-16 and 2018-19, and winning the two seasons in between.
The Hurricanes, who played two games in Launceston last season, made semi-finals in the first two years but have finished bottom for the past two seasons.
Invermay Park was announced as the game's host late last week, with UTAS Stadium out of action for a number of months due to resurfacing works.
UTAS Stadium is expected to be back in action in time to host the men's Hurricanes side later on in the season.
The clash between the Hurricanes and the Sixers will take place at 11am on Wednesday, November 13.
The full WBBL fixture will be announced at 10am on Wednesday.
