Tasmania Police is investigating the damage to a number of vehicles in the Blackmans Bay and Kingston areas.
Detectives said 22 vehicles between Waratah Street in Kingston and Pearsall Avenue in Blackmans Bay were damaged.

The total damage cost to the cars is estimated at between $8000 and $10,000.
It is believed the people responsible for the damage were on foot at the time.
