The state government has provided a $350,000 grant, while newly-elected Liberal Bass MHR Bridget Archer committed to meet with Trust representatives.
"I look forward to working with the National Trust in Tasmania to discuss funding priorities for Northern Tasmania," Ms Archer said.

Heritage Minister Will Hodgman said the state government grant "...will enable the Trust to address some of their most pressing capital works".
"This funding will also assist the board to explore other grant, philanthropic and fundraising avenues that will help to prioritise and stage these works as funding becomes available," he said.
Almost $4 million is needed to pay for urgent restoration and conservation works at seven Trust properties.
