A 14-year-old boy is recovering from a head injury in hospital on Sunday night after a trail bike crash at North Scottsdale.

Tasmania Police, SES, Tasmania Fire and Ambulance Tasmania attended the crash scene about 11.30am on Sunday.
The boy was riding with a friend when he crashed his trail bike into a barbed wire cattle fence on Old Waterhouse Road, North Scottsdale.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He was airlifted by the Police Rescue Helicopter to Royal Hobart Hospital, where he was placed on a ventilator.
The boy was treated for a closed head injury and facial and wrist fractures.
Tasmania Police is investigating the crash, but a spokesman said no other vehicles were believed to have contributed to the crash.
