Cinergee owner Vivienne Bartle said her team would attempt a 10-hour day on June 27, in a bid to send more than 65 Launceston women home with "newly-smooth private parts".

"But we need the support of dozens of ladies to set this record, and beat the current record of 62 Brazilians held by a salon in Noosa, Queensland," Ms Bartle said.

"Anyone over 16 can be part of the attempt, and everyone involved will receive a special personalised certificate acknowledging their participation."

The salon also has a competition for the largest group of friends to participate.

A reduced price for the treatment will also be offered on the day as an incentive. Participants would save $8 by paying $46 for the treatment.

"To get the record it's going to have to be run with military precision," Ms Bartle said.

Participants must turn up 10-15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to fill out the necessary forms, and each braz will hopefully take no longer than 20 minutes."
