Abbey Green and Meg Sinclair, two draft prospects who had starring roles in the Blues' win over North Launceston, showed their stuff in the second-best female league in Australia in late May as they represented Melbourne University Women's Football Club.
The Bulldogs came away 10-point victors over the University side after a strong second quarter performance but the pair proved their worth at a high level.
Green collected 17 disposals, took five marks and had 10 hit-outs with Sinclair amassing 14 disposals and laying six tackles, the third-most for her side.
After five games so far this season, the Launceston Lady Blues have been dominant, only conceding 48 points and comfortably sitting on top of the ladder as they face Glenorchy in a top-of-the-table clash on June 16.
