Commencing a blockbuster day of football at the Northern venue, Southern trio Lachlan Borsboom (Clarence), Zac Adams and Jordan Lane (both Tigers) are set to feature for the Devils for the first time following strong performances in the State League's development league.
With regular Devils stars Sam Collins, co-captain Oli Davis and Mitch O'Neill to miss through Allies selection in the National Championships match to be played following the Devils, Nic Baker, Connor Riethoff and Cohen Stephenson will also miss while North Launceston superstar Rhyan Mansell has been ruled out due to suspension.
Coach Adrian Fletcher said his players are truly taking it one week at a time and are more focused on playing the Devils brand of football rather than their ladder position after recent strong performances.
"We are really pleased with the way our players are developing," he said.
"Some 17s will get an opportunity over the next couple of weeks and some of our 18s will get an opportunity over the next couple of weeks, they've got to make sure they step up and play the team spirit, the Tassie way."
Sitting 10th on the ladder, the Devils are one win away from cracking the top five and Sunday's home-town clash against the 15th-placed Murray Bushrangers provides a major opportunity for Tasmania's team as the Victorian side have only picked up two wins.
North Launceston forward Jackson Callow still sits atop the league's goal-kicking with 15 majors.
