Garwood will be making a return to the show in season eight as one of nine All Stars, drawn from the seven-year history of The Voice.

Other big names from Australian reality TV, including Australian Idol alumni and 'Wasabi' singer Lee Harding, and Hi-5 original Nathan Foley, will also compete.

The stars will have to 'turn the chair' of a whole new blind judging panel, consisting of Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian, Kelly Rowland, and Boy George.

"Returning as an All Star, we have so much more to lose," Garwood said.

"I'd feel so embarrassed to have gone so well last time and to not turn a chair this time. But the reality is ... it could happen."

Garwood is using his profile from The Voice to raise money for The Cancer Council, and will get the "mop chopped" at the Kingsway Barbershop in the week after his Blind Audition airs on Sunday.

"Cancer is such an undiscriminating brutal beast that affects so many people," he said.

"I lost my grandfather to brain cancer only a couple of years ago. I then performed my Blind Audition song at his funeral as well as on ground as a part of the AFL Pink Ribbon round, so this is something close to my heart."
