When AFL Tasmania released its 30-player shortlist for Sunday's under-25 rep game, Sherrin Egger stood out from the rest.

One of five North Launceston players picked in the squad, Egger was not alone among ex-Devonport players, and even less classy small forwards.
"I'm the only bloke in there born in the 2000s but it doesn't matter - it means I've got a few more years left in it hopefully," the soon-to-be 19-year-old said at training.
"It's a really great honour and I'm very pleased to be in that team.
"You look out here at the moment and who's going to be in the team - it's a lot of good players - especially out of the whole of Tasmania, it wasn't just the State League."
Having kicked two goals in each of his past three State League outings, Egger expects to spend most of Sunday's clash with Vic Metro in the Devils' forward half, which will also contain Henry Keriniaua, Callen Daly and Alex Saunders.
Lauderdale recruit Edward Trupp looms as the only recognisable height in the home side's attack, but the conditions could well play into the hands of such a set-up.
"If it's at three o'clock it might be bit dewy as well which might come in handy for us," Egger said.
"[I'll maybe play] up forward but I've been chucked around in all different positions for North Launceston so I can sort of play anywhere, so wherever I get put I'll be happy to play.
"A lot of the blokes here for their clubs play that small forward role, so I reckon that'll be a big focus for us on Sunday - get it in there and if that ball hits the ground, that's when us smaller fellas can really use our speed, lock the ball in and be dangerous."
Arriving at the beginning of the 2018 season, Egger is now a fully-fledged Northern Bomber.
Announcing himself by challenging for the TSL player of the year award midway through last season, the former Don College student went on to contribute with a final-term goal in the grand final.
He has played every game this season for a return of seven goals and feels right at home at the TSL's most successful club.
"When you come to a new club it's all different, but you can tell why they've been so successful over the last five years," he said.
"As soon as you come in the older blokes - Brad Cox-Goodyer, [Taylor] Whitford and [Josh] Ponting and that really make you feel welcome and it didn't take me long to feel like I'd really been there for ages and keep building on that.
"l love coming to training every week and playing, it's really good."
