The Magpies were unable to capitalise on a good start on Sunday, falling to a 50-46 defeat at the second game in as many days at the Genea Netball Centre.
Leading 12-10 at quarter-time, the Magpies allowed the to take a one goal lead into the long break and four goal lead going into the final term, which the Magpies were not able to overturn.
Jane Cook was the most damaging of the Magpies shooters with 21 goals from her 26 attempts.
Sunday's loss followed a 54-53 defeat against the Waratahs on Saturday, in which the visitors came back from four goals down at the final change to fall one goal short.
The Magpies head to Victoria next week for a double-header against the Victorian Fury.
