Leading Launceston BMX Club's five-rider contingent at the 2019 BMX Australia national championships event, Bracken competed in the 11-years girl's 20-inch class and rode her way into the final with ease.
In making the final, Bracken became one of the athletes to take home a coveted 'A' plate that is awarded to each finalist.
Lining up against strong competitors like reigning national champion Alyssa Howat and second-ranked Maddison Aldersea, Bracken's performance was the strongest by a Northern rider and puts her on the radar for future competitions.
Held in Shepparton, a regular host of the annual event, over 1500 riders from across the country converged on the Victorian city two hours outside of Melbourne.
