Playing against the Adelaide Crows in Darwin on Saturday night, the Demons join Green's junior club, George Town, in wearing the armbands as a showing of support.
Co-captain Nathan Jones, who shared his career alongside former captain Green, said the gesture was a small one but important for both the club and Green.
"I think all we can do is let Brad know that we're here for him, and show him all the love and support we can," he said.
"There is a deeper connection from all the boys that have played with him and the people that have worked with him at our great club, and I think the best thing we can do is to just show our support, even in a very small way."
Passing away as a result of a cardiac arrest suffered last week, fashion blogger Green is set to be farewelled in a private funeral in the coming days.
Those wishing to support the family can donate to Fight MND at their wishes.
