All wrong
FINALLY the big scam is revealed. Max Burr (The Examiner, May 25) has worked out, from his home in Scottsdale, that those thousands of earth scientists, astrophysicists, cosmologists, astronomers, climatologists, etc. have all been completely wrong these past 40 years.

It's not the burning of millions upon millions of tonnes of fossil fuels that is altering our climate. It's "the energy flows within the Milky Way galaxy".
Of course. How have they all missed this?
Max's thesis is further supported by Robert French of Hagley, who, in the same edition of The Examiner, outlined the blinding logic that all the members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change have missed.
He shattered the idea that a rise in Co2 concentration of 100 parts per million could possibly cause a climate emergency with his authoritative opinion that "I think it's unlikely."
Who can argue with that?
Gary Bakker, Upper Rosevears.
Wonderful World of Hemp
The world is beginning to experience a hemp revolution. Growth of this marvelous plant is rapidly expanding worldwide and Australia is now catching up. Tasmania is leading in this although the crop can be grown virtually anywhere in Australia.
What is so marvelous about hemp? Its seed produces oil or food. Its stem produces fibers suitable for fine cloth to total replacement of plastics across many areas from car bodies to building materials.
Hemp provides the answer to the proliferation of plastics in the environment.
One of its products, Hempcrete, produces a building material virtually indestructible in fire - ideal for bush fire prone areas.
Tasmanian production will expand greatly as more of the qualities of this product are explored.
In the meantime it provides a crop likely to improve soils and then aid other crops.
Dick James, Launceston.
Vegan protests
PETER Doddy, so you are saying you approve of the horrendous factory farming that consigns animals to a lifetime of cruelty and torture?
This is what vegans are protesting about and it is a noble cause.
I urge people to watch just five minutes of a film called Dominion.
Any decent person will be horrified.
