Ziggy Robert Brunskill, 25, attempted to avoid being intercepted by police while driving on Faulkner and Ravenswood roads on May 7.
The Mayfield man tried to avoid being apprehended by police, but was caught after he fled on foot.

During his appearance in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Thursday, Brunskill also pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a public officer.
On January 19 Brunskill tried to punch and headbutt a Risdon Prison officer.
Brunskill was remanded to reappear on July 22.
