Tourists and locals made their way up Ben Lomond's notorious Jacob's Ladder to look at the early arrival of a winter-wonderland
Ben Lomond Snow Sports manager Geoff Foot said despite the early fall, their plan is to open next month.
MORE ON THE APPROACHING WINTER:
"We'll go up in the middle of June to open up, and if there's some snow around that's good, but if there's not we will try and make some snow with the three snow guns we've got."
Visitors to the mountain are reminded that snow chains must be carried between the months of June and September, alternatively the shuttle will be operational from the middle of June.
"At least it's cooling the ground down and hopefully getting us ready for a good season." Mr Foot said.
