The 22 year old from Ulverstone has managed to nab a spot styling the luscious locks of musical hopefuls.
She remained tight-lipped about the name of the show, but said she had been flying to and from Sydney for the past couple of months, putting in long days on her feet.
Miss Butler has been working as a hairdresser for Ulverstone's NRG Hair Room for the past seven-and-a-half years.

Her salon training had prepared her well for TV work, particularly the long hours standing, she said.
"It's really full on, there's so much more to it than you'd think," Miss Butler said.
"There's always something going on, there's not really any down time, everything's go go go.
"But I got really good training from my boss, she was always wanting to teach, she wanted train people up to be as confident as possible, as quick as possible."
The hairdresser-come-stylist said she'd always known she wanted to work with high-profile clients, and this opportunity was a foot in the door.
"I sort of thought it was always something I wanted to do when I was younger, I thought I wanted to work overseas in big fashion shows," she said.
"When they asked me to do it I thought, 'oh my God, that's everything I wanted to do'.
"I never imagined it, I definitely didn't think I would come this far this quick."
"I think because of doing (the show)... it gave me confidence and made me realise I've just go to put myself out there."
