Hawthorn trio Shaun Burgoyne, Jarman Impey and Chad Wingard all started their careers in teal, black and white, and will celebrate Doug Nicholls Round with six Indigenous Port Adelaide opponents on Saturday.
A three-time premiership hero at Brisbane, Voss said his club's pathway for Indigenous players was as good as any in the league.
"That's something I'm sure the club would be extremely proud of, that the ones taking the field tomorrow have originated from Port Adelaide," the 43-year-old said.
"It's a really important part of our community and program and I think we do it exceptionally well - probably the best in the business.
"We've got some great programs there led by some really great people so that's why it had a little bit of extra importance this week - not just important to the players that play, but it's also important to our club."

The Power's 10th foray into Launceston comes a week ahead of their trip to Shanghai, which will be followed by a bye and a trip to Fremantle.
While much is made of the Hawks' astounding record at the venue - 33 wins from their past 36 games - the Power have notched a highly respectable five wins from nine games.
Voss said being hard to beat away from home was crucial for any non-Victorian-based side.
"Hawthorn play extremely well at this venue - we know their record, we're fully aware of it, it's really important to them that they hold that record so we've got some work to do to get it in our favour," Voss said.
"If they are able to swing it where they get their best, they're an extremely formidable side.
"We feel like like we've got a gameplan to challenge, but at the same time we've got some work to do to try and impact what they're trying to achieve."
The Power named their sixth debutant of the season with ruckman Peter Ladhams joining star pair Robbie Gray and Tom Jonas among three inclusions.
Voss said he hoped the 202cm youngster would provide a handy for foil for teammate Paddy Ryder against Jon Ceglar, who is likely to play as the Hawks' lone ruckman.
Star Hawk Ben McEvoy and 2018 premiership ruckman Scott Lycett are both out for their respective clubs.
"He's really forged some really good form in the past month - he's put himself into the ruck and put his hand up so we're expecting some really good things from him," Voss said.
"You always hope that you get something out of [an extra ruckman] but the opposition are always well-planned as well - they've still got some resources they can tap into.
"But any time we can give our mids a first look at it, give them first opportunity, it gives them the chance to get territory on the game - if we get that advantage great, but we also can't take for granted that the Hawks will definitely have something up their sleeves and we've got to be mindful of that."
