"Bad kicking is bad footy" was the message from Suns coach Damien Rhind after last week's tight loss.
"The last two weeks we've played really good footy and showed consistent effort, now it's about maintaining that consistency for four quarters," Rhind said.
Shutting down the Suns' upper echelon of players will be a priority for Perth after a "disappointing" last week.
"We are two even sides and they have a good top end so we will need to shut that down to win," Josh Holton said.
After a dominant win last week, BRIDPORT shift their focus to the top end of the table as they take on East Coast.
Despite the win, coach Adam Howlett wasn't fully impressed with their ball use but believes if it all clicks they can take the points.
"We are optimistic, we've shown we can go with sides and feel if we get the game on our terms and control by foot, we are a big chance," he said.
William Brown and Andy Rudling will miss through injury with Andy Barron to come in as Swans look to bounce back from their first loss of the year.
Coach Ned Hyland said "Lilydale were the better side on the day and deserved the win" before describing the loss as "pressure off the shoulders".
"The boys are hungry and prepared. I personally think Bridport are the biggest improvers, so we see this as a danger game."
After a closer than expected match last week, ST PATS are not underestimating perennial rivals Old Scotch.
"You can never write Scotch off as they'll find another gear. I'm not buying into where they are on the ladder," coach Alex Russell said.
After a 99-point loss to Old Launcestonians, Old Scotch coach Shaun Muller is excited for his side to face yet a quality St Pats side.
"This is just another opportunity to learn from a good quality side and our younger boys to see the ins and outs of senior footy," Muller said.
Russell predicted several changes to strengthen St Pats as Christian Mulder makes way for Lochie Bremner for Old Scotch.
With up to six changes predicted this week, EVANDALE coach James Storay is still confident with his line-up.
With Jack Maher, Justin Hutton, Brady Wagner and Andrew Frame all key outs, Storay is looking for his crew to maintain a four-quarter effort.
"In reality we only played one good quarter last week, the third, which decided our fate and stretched out the margin rather than it being another tight one," he said.
After showing reasonable signs of achieving their goals, Uni Mowbray coach Alan Perrin is bracing for a tough encounter with Josh Foote set to be a major inclusion.
"Evandale are a good side and perennial finalists. We've been training on small things we've picked up on and we hope to fare better," he said.
