Burnie's 1996 Olympic bronze medallist Tim O'Shannessey (Coastal Senior Cycling Club) won the handicap classic with Launceston's Steven Brown and Dave Bingley coming fourth and fifth respectively.
Northern Vets clubmates Luke Moore (eighth) and Shane Delanty (10th) made it five Tasmanians in the top 10 from 90 starters.
In the women's 110km race, Macey Stewart (Mersey Valley) was the first scratch rider home to claim fastest time of 2:56.07 in 11th with Amy Cure (Mersey Valley) 15th and Georgia Baker (Northern Districts) 18th.
Stewart, Baker and Cure also finished fourth, fifth and sixth respectively in the kermesse championship with Brown claiming the C-grade men's event.
Hobart's Scott Bowden has made a flying start to the Tour of Japan.
The 24-year-old Rio Olympian came 23rd in the opening 2.6km prologue and 27th in the 105km Kyoto stage won by his BridgeLane teammate Ayden Toovey.
Bowden sat 20th overall, 28 seconds behind Toovey after the second stage and moved up a place to 19th (29 seconds down) after the third stage won by compatriot Ben Hill.
With four riders in the top 19, BridgeLane lead the teams classification.
The eight-stage race visits Mino, Minamishinshu, Fuji and Izu and finishes in Tokyo on Sunday.
