A photographic competition for the region's youth is being held by the West Tamar Arts Group.

Photos are to depict the Tamar Valley in an open-to-interpretation style.
The competition opened on May 20, and will close on June 30.
Local photographers will judge the competition, with the winner securing four hours of mentoring from Linda Pasfield Photography.

Pasfield will also judge the competition, along with West Tamar Camera Club president Nadia Trevan.
Second prize is a workshop with photographer Rod Thompson and a framed copy of the winner work.
Three encouragement awards will also be given out worth $75 each.
Finalists' works will be displayed at the Windsor Gallery during August.
Winners will be announced at a special afternoon tea at the gallery.
