As of Thursday night, 57,615 Tasmanians had voted.
In the 2016 election, a total of 38,316 pre-poll votes were cast in the state, indicating a significant spike in early voting this year.
Braddon continues to have the highest number of pre-poll voters at 15,163, followed by Bass with 11,449, Clark with 10,583, Franklin with 10,222 and Lyons with 10,198.
As of Thursday night, 4.05 million Australians had voted, according to the AEC.
533,000 votes were cast across the nation on Thursday alone.
The number of total pre-poll votes is expected to increase when accounting for votes cast on Friday, as historically pre-polling is highest the day before the election.
