The whisky-inspired week was launched in Hobart on Wednesday, with organisers releasing the program for the August event.
Tasmanian Whisky and Spirits Association executive officer Emma Gilligan said Tasmanian spirits had won more than 20 prestigious national and international medals already this year and this event gave people the opportunity to sample award-winning whisky.

"Tasmanian Whisky Week 2019 gives Tasmanian and visitors a unique opportunity to taste, sample and enjoy spirits from over 25 different Tasmanian distilleries including vodka, gin, liqueurs, whisky and even rum," Ms Gilligan said.
"We will have more distilleries on offer than ever before."
Events throughout the week include the Tasmanian Spirits Showcase, Northern distilleries guided bus tours, Wheastky to celebrate East Coast distilleries, Meet the Maker events and an auction of rare and limited whiskies.
Awards received by Northern distilleries so far this year include Corra Lin Distillery, Relbia, winning a business excellence award as a manufacturing entrepreneur; and Western Junction's Launceston Distillery won two silver medals at the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards for its tawny cask and apera cask single malt whiskies.
