The money will be split evenly between the projects.
The new announcement follows a commitment by the party to build a $4.4 million bike trail in George Town.
Bass Labor MHR Ross Hart said the project had the support of the George Town Chamber of Commerce which it viewed as critical in bringing recreational tourism visitation to the region.
The party will also invest $615,000 into recreational fishing infrastructure in the North-East and East Coast regions.
This includes money to repair the sea ramp at Weymouth and upgrades to boat ramps at Tomahawk and Musselroe Bay.
The money will also be used to install pontoons at Stieglitz, St Helens and Lake Leake, and to extend the boat ramp at Waubs Gulch at Bicheno.
