Ms Judd said the evidence was expected to take up to three hours.
Clark pleaded guilty to failing to report a killing and being an accessory after the fact to murder.
She was sentenced to five and a half years' jail after admitting she failed to report and concealed Mr Anderson-Brettner's murder.

The accused was remanded to reappear in the Launceston Magistrates Court for the hearing on August 29.
