The Westbury Garden Club has been the driving force behind a project that will see more than 3000 bulbs planted around the town.
In May, the club will work with the Meander Valley Council to plant the bulbs around more than 200 street trees.
The bulbs will be planted on the eastern bank of the entrance to the township.
Westbury Garden Club president Heather Clarke said it was exciting for the town.
"We are thrilled that council has embraced the initiative. Their support and involvement has ensured the project can be delivered with greater scope and will have a huge impact," Ms Clarke said.
The bulbs will complement the council's street tree plantings, further enhancing Westbury's aesthetic appeal, the council said.
The Westbury Garden Club received a grant from the council towards the project, as well as in-kind support from the council's works department.
In addition to grant funding, the Westbury Garden Club contributed $1000 for the purchase of bulbs, with many more coming from community donations.
"This is a great example of what can be achieved when we all work together," Ms Clarke said.
"On behalf of the Westbury Garden Club, I would like to thank council, club members and the community for their generous donations and offers of help."
The bulbs will continue to grow and the annual floral display will be appreciated for generations to come, the council said.
Meander Valley mayor Wayne Johnston said he was pleased to see the community wanting to improve its region.
"I think it's great that community members want to get in and beautify their town," he said.
"You easily take pride in your appearance, your hour and your car, and so it's just about community members wanting to have pride in their town."
Mr Johnston said it was good for communities, with areas such as Chudleigh already having great streetscapes with roses planted alongside the road.
"It's great provided it doesn't affect the roadway for residents," he said.
He hopes more communities will want to do projects like this in the future.
Council have worked with the garden club in the past for similar projects, but nothing to this size.
