Some candidates can't claim the same feat.
Since the election was called we have had many commitments and pledges made for Bass and our nation.
It makes the numbers you place in the box next to names on May 18 a little difficult.
That's why The Examiner, along with the Launceston Chamber of Commerce, has organised a forum between Bridget Archer and Ross Hart, one of whom will represent us in Canberra.
The duo will be quizzed on the topics that matter to you. You can submit your questions here.
We hope, through this forum, you will leave with a clearer understanding as to who will be the best person to represent Bass to ensure our community continues to build and grow.
As valued subscribers, we are also offering an exclusive meet and greet prior to the forum. From 5pm you can join us and the candidates for coffee at Tram Room 28.
The forum will follow at 6.30pm at the Tramsheds Auditorium at Inveresk.
The event is free, but we would appreciate you letting us know that you are coming via this link.
Next week I will be away from the office. I'm a volunteer with the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, which is a week-long camp for Tasmanians aged 18-30.
I will be back just in time for the last week frenzy of the election. Keep your eyes on your inbox, as we will be inviting all subscribers to join us for pizza (a newsroom tradition), on election night and be given an insight as to how The Examiner will be reacting to the count and publishing the content.

We have a double pass to giveaway to La forza del destino at the Village Cinemas.
