Rescheduled round one fixtures mean the two clubs will meet Clarence and Kingborough respectively for the second time in two weeks - not that either head coach minds.

Olympic boss Alex Gaetani said his side was determined to turn the tables after becoming the Roos' first victim earlier this month.

"We had a really disappointing result against them two weeks ago which was probably a bit of an eye-opener for where we were at the time," Gaetani said.

"I think we were fairly frustrated with our ability to not play anywhere near our potential, or put away the goals we should have put away from the chances that we had.

"The nice thing is to get to rectify it straight away, but it's still going to be a mental challenge for us.

"The reaction from most of the players was one of determination to fix it because I think they were a little bit shocked to come up against a team that hadn't won a game ... we did expect to win and we didn't."

Gaetani was thrilled to have star keeper Jarrod Hill back from a six-week layoff, and hoped the shot-stopper's return would be the catalyst for a more dangerous Olympic side.

"Regardless of whether we're playing Clarence or playing Devonport I think the most important thing you can do is play the football that you know can be played and the results will take care of themselves," Gaetani said.

"I think if we get close to our best then we can beat many team in this league but we haven't gotten there yet."

City coach Lino Sciulli is looking forward to his side's rematch with Kingborough for different reasons.

Asked what he would change from City's scoreless draw at Kingborough two weeks ago, the former Northern Rangers boss was straight to the point.

"Not much - that was a bloody good game," he said.

"Both teams played pretty well but we've had a couple of injuries since then."

Shane Cartwright's return from injury is expected to be the only change to the side that lost to Devonport 5-2 away last weekend, a result Sciulli put down to a poor start.

"We never recovered from the first half but the second half we had a little chat, a few positional changes and we were a lot better - we were still outclassed on the day but we were a lot better," Sciulli said.

"Noah [Mies] is having a good season but the challenge for him is to keep going and he is playing well, and there's a few other guys playing well as well."
