The vineyard held a Easter Family Fun picnic, with plenty to keep adults and kids alike entertained in the cool Autumn weather.
Cellar door manager and events producer Bec Jones said the day was a big hit.
"We've been incredibly busy all day but we've had such an amazing turnout," she said.
"More than we expected and we've had live music so we've been able to really satisfy everyone's needs with food and wine and music."
The day included live music from the skilled Je Bahl and fresh platters from Hubert & Dan.
Ms Jones said the event was a great way to bring in the Pinot Noir as Tasmania heads into red wine season.
"We've just launched a new label for the Pinot Noir in the 2017 vintage and it's got a real 'arts meets science' label so really excited to be bringing that out today with a little special cheese platter," said.
An Easter egg hunt was also held for children, with about 30 kids scurrying about the cellar door in search of chocolate.
Ms Jones said after the success of the Easter Sunday picnic, Tamar Ridge hopes to hold more weekend family picnic events in the coming months.
