Saturday afternoon saw a number of Tasmanian players in action in the men's quarter finals.
The Tasmanian Easter Championships are one of three tournaments held over the Easter holidays for juniors, with the State Age tournament in Hobart preceding the event and the State Championships in the week following, making the state a popular destination for players over the school holidays.
The tournament has over 300 competitors entered to play over the weekend, with over half of them from the mainland.
The men's and women's finals, along with the Pardey Shield, will be played on Easter Monday with free entry for spectators at the Launceston Tennis Centre.
