Olivia Nettlefold took her two daughters and mother to Ellie May's Kitchen for a special school holiday treat.
Ms Nettlefold walked across the road from the eatery when she realised she'd left her handbag on the back of her chair.
She rushed back but her bag with her brand new mobile phone, wallet, money for groceries and Easter presents, and house keys was gone.

A number of community members contacted The Examiner and Ms Nettlefold to offer their support and made generous donations.
The Mowbray Op-Shop, the Benevolent Society, Festivus, BDF Law and Pilgram Uniting Church were among those who reached out.
Jess Hoyle collected money from some Launceston business to donate to Ms Nettlefold.
Ms Hoyle donated some of her own money and bought some chocolates for Ms Nettlefold's two daughters.
"It's only in giving we receive," Ms Hoyle said.
Ms Nettlefold thanked the community for its generosity an offers of assistance.
